Hyundai has launched the facelifted Venue in India, know what are the new changes.

New Delhi: Hyundai has launched its 2022 Venue in India at a starting price of Rs 7.53 lakh with the turbo petrol and diesel starting at 9.90 lakh. This is a comprehensive update for this subcompact SUV and it gets many changes including an extensive exterior and interior overhaul.

The new Venue is easily identified by its new look front where the grille is new and also a new bumper design. The DRLs and lights continued to be placed similarly but the DRLs seems to be an extension of the grille like on the new Tucson.

The side view sees new 16inch alloy wheels while the overall proportions remain the same but with a few updates.

The biggest change to the Venue is the rear tail lamp with now is a light bar that connects the tail lamps. The lower part of the rear bumper is also all-new.

Inside, the new Venue gets some big changes in form of a new interior dual-tone colour scheme which looks more premium along with a Creta-like new 4-spoke steering wheel.
The new Venue also gets a digital instrument cluster and a drive mode selector with various modes to choose from.

Some new features on offer are a powered driver's seat, Home to car (H2C) with Alexa & Google Voice Assistant, 60+ Bluelink Connected features and 2 Step Rear Reclining Seat, which is first in the segment. The car will also play soothing sounds while driving.

The new Venue continues to have features like a touchscreen, sunroof, air purifier, cruise control, 6 airbags, and more.

The new Venue would be available in 5 variants with various engine options. The range starts from a 1.2l petrol to a 1.0l turbo petrol along with a 1.5l diesel. The turbo petrol gets an iMT clutchless manual and a DCT automatic option. The 1.2l petrol and 1.5l diesel will come with a manual gearbox only.
