The costs of onion and garlic have dropped to between 50-90 paise and Rs 2 per kilogram respectively in Neemuch Mandi in Madhya Pradesh, leading to large distress among farmers. The traders maintain that though the supply affect the price of the produce, however, the quality of the crop also pays a major role in deciding the price. Watch Ghanti Bajao's exclusive report.
