Uttarakhand rains: Red alert issued; tourists stranded at Lemon Tree resort in Ramnagar

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in the state till Tuesday. The roads have been completely washed out in many places. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took information from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on the phone about the damage caused by heavy rains in Uttarakhand and the rescue and relief operations being conducted.
