Odisha News: ADM suffers heart attack while singing on stage, dies on spot | ABP News

At a gathering of government officials in the Gajapati district of Odisha, an additional district magistrate (ADM) passed away after collapsing on stage while performing a Jagannath bhajan, an official said on Thursday.

The deceased, Birendra Kumar Das, was the ADM (Revenue) for the district of Gajapati. Social media users were captivated by a video clip of the Wednesday night incident.

After the ADM unexpectedly passed out while leading a bhajan, he was brought to a nearby hospital, where it was discovered that his blood pressure was extremely elevated. He received initial care before being sent to MKCG Medical and Hospital in Berhampur, where medical professionals pronounced him dead, according to Gajapati Collector Smruti Ranjan Pradhan.
