The Mahakumbh has begun with the holy dip on the occasion of Posh Purnima in Prayagraj. By 9 AM, around 60 lakh devotees had taken a holy dip in the Ganges. Devotees are gathering at every house in the Sangam area. Renowned saints and seers from across the country and abroad, including Acharya Shankaracharya and representatives from all Akhadas, are present at the event.
