What to expect from Election Commission's press conference today?
As the Election Commission of India (ECI) is all set to release the schedule for Assembly elections in Goa, Punjab, Manipur, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh at 3.30 p.m. on Saturday, it has been speculated that the number of phases in all states will be increased. The increased number of phases will have a major impact on the lives of people amid COVID-19. However, the locals from these states want elections in lesser phases so that the process will complete faster and there will be fewer public gatherings.
