Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is reported to have been aboard the ill-fated Air India AI171 flight, which crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad en route to London Gatwick. As rescue operations continue, there is growing concern over the status of Rupani, with no official confirmation yet from government sources or hospital authorities.According to Dr. Tushar Patel, former president of the Ahmedabad Medical Association, many injured passengers have been admitted to Civil Hospital, but there is no verified information on Vijay Rupani's condition. Family members and close associates are anxiously awaiting updates, facing a communication blackout that has heightened the distress.The aircraft was carrying 242 individuals, including 230 passengers and 12 crew members.
