Sonbhadra: Goldmine with over 3,000 tonne reserve found

A gold mine that is supposed to contain reserve of 3,000 tonne is found in Uttar Pradesh's Sonbhadra district. The worth of the gold reserve is about Rs 12 lakh crore. This is two and a half times the current budget of the Uttar Pradesh state. During a survey, mining officials found two reserves in the district. The administration has continued the 7-member team for auction of blocks through e-tendering.
