Sonam’s Family And In-Laws Demand CBI Probe As Murder Case Turns Into A Complex Web Of Claims
The Indore honeymoon murder case involving Sonam and Raja Raghuvanshi continues to grow murkier, with both families demanding a CBI probe. After Sonam was found crying and alone at a roadside eatery in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, her family informed the police, who safely took her into custody. Sonam’s brother Govind confirmed her identity over a video call and urged police intervention.Devi Singh Raghuvanshi, Sonam’s father, and Raja’s brother Vipin both question the Meghalaya Police's version, which alleges that Sonam paid for Raja's murder. They claim the narrative is baseless and politically motivated. Sonam, not yet officially declared an accused, is said to be part of a larger conspiracy being covered up.Vipin Raghuvanshi stated that while anything is possible, they won’t believe the contract killing claim until they hear directly from Sonam. He also hinted at Raja possibly having conflicts or enemies, raising questions about who else might be involved. With three suspects already held in Indore and mystery surrounding how Sonam reached Ghazipur, both families are urging the Centre for a CBI probe, arguing that only a thorough and impartial investigation will uncover the truth behind Raja’s death.
