Almost a month after a rebellion by Shiv Sena MLAs in Maharashtra, several Shiv Sena MPs are also set to switch sides. Shiv Sena MPs and Shinde camp sources have confirmed that at least 12 of the 19 Shiv Sena MPs are likely to form separate groups in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. A top source confirmed that the MPs will submit a formal letter to the Speaker in this regard. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister and rebel group leader Eknath Shinde is scheduled to visit Delhi on Tuesday and meet the MPs who have supported him. According to sources, around 12 Shiv Sena MPs participated in a virtual meeting organized by CM Shinde in Mumbai on Monday, during which it was decided to form a separate group in the Lok Sabha.
