SC directs govt to not to charge migrants for train journeys
The Supreme Court has directed the central government to not charge the migrants for train journeys instead send the money directly to the Indian Railways.
During the hearing, the lawyer from Central government's side said that help was provided to the migrants in shape of trains, buses and other arrangements. At this, the apex court pointed out the harsh fact that there was no doubt that the help was provided but it had not been reaching the needy.
