Relief for taxpayers, last date to file ITR extended till 30 November
In a major relief for taxpayers, the last date to file Income Tax Returns has been pushed back to 30 November. The date will apply for financial year 2019-2020 according to a Finance Ministry notification. Meanwhile, last date to file ITR for Financial Year 2018-2019 has been pushed to 31 July. According to a CBDT notification, those taxpayers with tax limit of upto Rs 1 lakh can also file ITR till 30 November.
