Red alert in Assam: Downpour predicted from May 26 to 28

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Assam and Meghalaya as these places are bound to receive heavy rainfall from May 26-28. In this report, visuals from Goalpara district are shown. Due to downpour, NH12 was swept away.
On the other hand fields with ready crops were ruined too
