Rahul Gandhi's Sambhal Visit: Rahul & Priyanka Caught in Talks as Police Blocks Sambhal Visit | ABP News
In the Lok Sabha, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi is en route to Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, the police have stopped him at the Ghazipur border. Rahul's sister, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is also a Member of Parliament from Wayanad, is accompanying him. The police have issued a notice to Rahul and Priyanka, informing them that due to Section 163 of the BNSS (Bharatiya National Security Act) being enforced in Sambhal and the imposition of Section 144 by the administration, they are not allowed to go there. It has been reported that Rahul has made a request to the police. According to Avinash Pandey, the in-charge of UP Congress, Rahul Gandhi requested the police to let him go to Sambhal alone. He suggested that if the police do not want him to go in his own vehicle, they could take him in their vehicle. However, the police have not yet granted permission for this. Sources indicate that the police and administrative officials are currently in discussions with their senior officers regarding Rahul's request.
