Not total cases but keeping mortality rate low is our priority: Health Minister
Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has said that the first priority of the government is to keep the mortality rate as low as possible. He added that if we keep the number of deaths in check, then the total number of confirmed cases is not as important. He further added that India has now increased its testing capability to over 1.5 lakh tests per day. Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that no country is attacking Coronavirus as aggressively as India.
