NIA Takes Over Red Fort Blast Probe, Intensifies On-Site Investigation

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has officially taken over the Red Fort blast investigation, marking a crucial phase in the ongoing probe. Earlier today, NIA officials arrived at the explosion site in Delhi to collect new evidence and analyze the area where the blast occurred near the Red Fort metro station traffic light. Sources confirm that fresh samples have been taken, while previously gathered materials are also being re-examined to uncover the sequence of events and identify the explosive used. A special 10-member NIA team, led by senior officers, has been formed to lead the investigation and ensure that no lead is overlooked. The area remains sealed off with tight security, and no unauthorized entry is being permitted. The NIA is coordinating closely with Delhi Police, Haryana Police, and Jammu and Kashmir Police, as well as intelligence agencies, to trace the broader network possibly linked to the terror module behind the blast. Officials believe forensic evidence, CCTV footage, and digital communication data may reveal critical connections among the suspects already detained. The investigation has now entered a deeper phase, with multiple states and agencies pooling resources to identify the masterminds behind the attack.
