MP: Principal suspended over distribution of copies with Savarkar's photo
Madhya Pradesh: The Principal of a school was suspended after distribution of notebooks carrying photos of Hindutva ideologue Veer Savarkar among the students in the school. K.C. Sharma, District Education Officer said "the principal was suspended, as he didn't take permission from concerned authorities before allowing the NGO to distribute notebooks carrying Savarkar's photos among the students.” School’s Principal RN Kerawat, is a winner of the President's Award.
