More than Covid-19, the 'Hong Kong situation' troubles China

Most of the major countries of the world hold China responsible for hiding data that could have proven crucial in the early fight against Covid-19. However, more than the pandemic, its the situation in Hong Kong that troubles the communist nation. The USA and other western countries have condemned the Chinese attack to impose a new National Security Law in Hong Kong. The new law effectively ends the autonomy of Hong Kong and snatches the last vestige of democracy in the region.
