Monsoon and landslide cause double damage to life and property

Around 19.8 lakh domesticated animals and over 13 lakh poultry birds were affected due to floodwater in Assam.

A landslide has resulted in long traffic jams in the hilly areas with heavy loss to property.

In Assam, the District Administrations have set up 748 relief camps and distribution centres in 25 districts.
