Jharkhand: Fruit seller booked for 'disturbing communal harmony'

A fruit seller in Jharkhand has been booked by the cops for allegedly disturbing communal harmony in the area. The issue started when the fruit seller put up a poster claiming that he is a Hindu and the poster had photos of Hindu Gods. When a twitter user raised an issue about it, Jharkhand police took action by removing the poster and booking the fruit seller.

However, BJP has condemned the action of Jharkhand police and termed the entire incident as appeasement politics.
