Irked by Swami Vachananda's warning, Yediyurappa says 'ready to quit CM Post'
Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa threatened to resign after Swami Vachananda, belonging to the Panchamsali sect of Lingayats, demanded Murugesh Nirani's induction in cabinet. Swami further said that Yediyurappa would have to face the wrath of community if done otherwise. After this, CM threatened to resign from the post. Murugesh is a BJP MLA. Swami had said, "Murugesh Nirani has stood with you like a rock. Induct him into the cabinet, otherwise the Panchamsali Lingayats will abandon their support to you."
