India's Got Latent Controversy: Apoorva Mukhija Gives Statement Regarding Obscene Comments

The controversy surrounding the comedy show India's Got Latent continues to intensify as Apoorva Mukhija has now recorded her statement in connection with the obscene remarks made during the show. The case, which involves several prominent figures such as Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and Ashish Chanchlani, has prompted police action. The Khark Police have already recorded Ashish Chanchlani’s statement and are in touch with other accused individuals, including the show's creator, Samay Raina, who is currently abroad. The police have also communicated with Ranveer Allahbadia's manager, as they prepare to summon him to record his statement. The episode in question, filmed on November 14, 2024, went viral after a controversial clip circulated online, sparking widespread outrage. The police are working with BookMyShow to gather a list of audience members present at the recording. Maharashtra Cyber Police has also filed an FIR, urging YouTube to delete all episodes of India’s Got Latent. The National Commission for Women (NCW) has issued summons to the accused, and a hearing is scheduled for February 17. The investigation continues, with authorities taking strong measures to address the allegations.
