India-China Standoff: What happened during 14th round of talks?
Fourteenth round of talks took place between India and China on Wednesday. India stressed on the need of early withdrawal of troops from the remaining places of confrontation in Eastern Ladakh.
Sources said that the talks mainly focused on taking forward the process of withdrawing troops from the Hot Springs. The talks started at 9.30 am and went on till evening. The Indian delegation was led by Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, who has been appointed as the new commander of the 14th Corps based in Leh. The Chinese side was led by Major General Yang Lin, Chief of the South Xinjiang Military District.
