Ideas of India | Kailash Satyarthi EXCLUSIVE with Sumit Awasthi | ABP News
India, with a population of 138 million people, has one of the world's highest young-to-adult population ratios. According to India's Census of 2001, 35.3 percent of the country's population is between the ages of 0 and 14, and 41% is under the age of 18. Moving forward 20 years from the data point, India has experienced tremendous growth. Most of the credit for the country's stability amid difficult economic periods — from the early 2000s global depression to the Covid-19 pandemic-induced lockdown — goes to the youthful population working hard for a better tomorrow.
