June 15, Bari, Italy (PTI): After ending his day-long visit to Italy, where he attended the G7 summit and had bilateral meetings with a number of foreign leaders, including Pope Francis, French President Emmanuel Macron, and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for home on Friday. In a speech during the G7 outreach session in the Apulia area of Italy, Modi urged the end of the technological monopoly and stated that innovative use of the technology is necessary to build an inclusive society. The prime minister gave a long speech on the significance of breaking up technological monopolies, focusing especially on artificial intelligence. According to Modi, India is one of the first few nations to develop a national AI plan.
