Education: Fire Safety Lapses Put Khan Sir’s Coaching Centre Under Scrutiny

Bihar educator Khan Sir is facing fresh challenges as authorities have identified fire safety deficiencies at his coaching institute. According to the Bihar Fire Services Department, an audit found shortcomings in fixed fire-fighting arrangements and issues related to occupancy management at the coaching centre. DIG Manoj Kumar stated that the institute has been instructed to rectify the identified deficiencies. He warned that if the required compliance is not ensured, the authorities will proceed with sealing the coaching centre under the prescribed legal provisions. District Fire Officer Ritesh Pandey and other officials are reportedly monitoring the matter to ensure that the necessary safety standards are implemented. This development comes at a time when Khan Sir is already facing legal scrutiny in connection with a separate firing-related case, further adding to his difficulties. Officials emphasized that their primary objective is to secure compliance with fire safety regulations, but strict action will follow if the institute fails to meet the required standards.
