Delhi to get free WiFi from December 16: CM Arvind Kejriwal
Ahead of Delhi assembly elections that are scheduled to be held early next year, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today announced the people will be able to avail the facilities of free WiFi in the national capital from December 16, 2019. Kejriwal while addressing the media said, "In total 11,000 hotspots will be installed all over the city, out of which 4000 hostpots will be setup near bus stands, rest 7000 hotspots in diffrent delhi markets and areas (100 hotspots in every assembly)." "First 100 hotspots will be inaugrated on December 16. The work order has been released," he added.
