IPL 2025 Points Table Update: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 points table is shifting rapidly as teams battle for supremacy. After eight matches, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) claimed the top spot with a convincing 50-run win over Chennai Super Kings, marking their second straight win.

Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has dropped out of the top three following their first defeat of IPL 2025 season.

RCB Claims Top Spot, CSK Slips Out of Top 3

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), under Rajat Patidar's captaincy, has been in fine form, winning both of their matches against Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). With 4 points and a net run rate of +2.266, they now lead the table.

Lucknow Super Giants, with one win and one loss in two matches, are placed second. Punjab Kings, who won their only match so far, hold the third position. Delhi Capitals, with one win in their only game, are in fourth place with a net run rate of +0.371. SRH and KKR are at number 5th and 6th spot, respectively.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has played two matches, securing one win and facing one defeat. With 2 points and a net run rate of -1.013, they now sit in seventh place.
