Coronavirus: Central govt stops biometric attendances till March 31
For the state's preparedness to tackle the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19), the Central government on Friday temporarily stopped biometric attendances in government offices till March 31.
"All central government employees were exempted from marking attendance through Aadhaar-based biometric system as a preventive measure to check the spread of the Covid-19," the order read.
