Congress MPs Protest Outside Parliament Over Adani Issue During Winter Session

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra arrived at Parliament to participate in the Winter Session. Yesterday, she and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, were stopped while heading to the violence-affected Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh, an action they have criticized. Priyanka was seen protesting in the House wearing a black jacket with the slogan "Modi and Adani are one" written on it. Opposition MPs, including Rahul Gandhi, staged a protest inside the Parliament complex over the Adani issue. Rahul Gandhi once again targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Adani matter, stating, "Modi ji cannot order an investigation into Adani because if he does, he will be investigating himself. Modi and Adani are one... not two, but one." In response to the opposition's demand for the formation of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to investigate the Adani issue, Congress MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla said, "The character and reputation of Indian businessmen are being questioned globally.
