Code Of Conduct Violation Case Filed Against Tej Pratap Yadav In Mahua Constituency

A fresh controversy has emerged in Bihar’s political landscape as a case has been filed against Tej Pratap Yadav for allegedly violating the Model Code of Conduct. The incident reportedly took place in Mahua, Vaishali — the constituency from which Tej Pratap is contesting in the upcoming assembly elections. According to officials, a police sticker was found on his private vehicle, along with police speakers installed without authorization. This act is considered a direct violation of the election code of conduct, leading to a formal case being registered.Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, recently formed his own political outfit and is contesting independently for the first time after separating from the Lalu family’s party. He has already filed his nomination papers from Mahua, and photos of the vehicle in question have circulated widely on social media, sparking public and political debate. The case adds to Tej Pratap’s challenges as he attempts to strengthen his new party’s image ahead of the elections. Authorities have confirmed that further investigation is underway into the matter.
