CM Sukhu Calls Emergency Meeting After Cloudbursts In 3 Areas | ABP News

After Assam and Kerala, heavy rainfall has now caused devastation in Himachal Pradesh. Cloudbursts occurred in Kullu's Nirmand block, Malana, and Mandi district, resulting in extensive damage. Many homes, schools, and hospitals have been destroyed, with around 40 people reported missing. In Mandi, one body has been recovered, and 35 people have been rescued. All schools and educational institutions in Mandi are closed today. Central Minister and BJP President JP Nadda has spoken with Himachal Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to review the situation and assured support from the central government. Nadda also contacted former CM Jairam Thakur and the BJP state president, instructing all BJP workers to engage in relief efforts.
