Breaking: Multiple states reel under shocking crimes, accidents, scams, and communal tensions
This week, India witnessed a disturbing surge in violence, communal tension, and shocking accidents across multiple states. In Maharashtra’s Pandharpur, a high-speed pickup van lost control and crashed into another vehicle, resulting in multiple injuries. CCTV footage captured the horrifying moment as the van rammed into a roadside eatery, leaving diners in panic.Elsewhere in Madhya Pradesh, a minor scuffle between two village groups escalated into caste violence when bike-borne men armed with iron rods attacked Dalits traveling on a tractor. Three people, including a woman, were hospitalized, and four accused later surrendered to the police.In Gujarat, a CRPF constable murdered a female sub-inspector following a domestic dispute. The couple had met on Instagram and had been living together. The man strangled the woman in a fit of rage. Her body was later recovered after a grueling search.Meanwhile, a fake butter racket was busted in Thane, Maharashtra, where palm oil and vanaspati were being packaged and sold as top-brand butter. Authorities seized 180 counterfeit packs.Tensions also flared in Navi Mumbai, where MNS workers allegedly pressured non-Marathi speakers to adopt Marathi, while in Haryana, an interfaith marriage led to a social boycott of an entire Muslim family.
