Breaking: Foreign And Finance Ministers’ Homes Set Ablaze As Nepal Protests Turn Fiercely Anti-Government

The political turmoil in Nepal has intensified drastically as violent protests sweep across the nation, targeting key members of the ruling government. In the latest and most alarming developments, the private residences of Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud in Dhangadhi and Finance Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat in Kathmandu have been set on fire by enraged protesters. The protesters, largely composed of Gen-Z youth with no formal political affiliation, have taken to the streets to denounce what they call systemic corruption, authoritarianism, and suppression of free speech, following a now-revoked nationwide social media ban.In Dhangadhi—bordering India’s Lakhimpur district in Uttar Pradesh—a massive plume of black smoke was seen rising from the Foreign Minister’s ancestral home. Meanwhile, in the capital, crowds stormed and torched the Finance Minister’s residence, chanting slogans like “Down with corruption!” and “Resign, Oli!”So far, nine cabinet ministers have resigned amid mounting pressure, but Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli remains defiant. An emergency all-party meeting is expected later today, which may decide the government’s fate. With major political figures now being directly targeted, the crisis in Nepal appears to be spiraling out of control, signaling an unprecedented generational uprising.
