Breaking: Blast Near Red Fort Under Investigation, FSL Team Collects Evidence From Parking Area

Delhi has been put on high alert after an explosion occurred near the Red Fort, triggering a fire that engulfed three parked cars. According to police sources, sections of the Explosives Act and BNS have been invoked. DCP North Raja Bhatiya stated that the investigation is underway and it would be premature to draw conclusions at this stage. The blast reportedly took place inside a parking area near the fort. CCTV footage of the parking slot where the vehicle was stationed is being closely examined, as it is considered a crucial hotspot in the probe. Senior officers of Delhi Police and various investigative agencies are present at the site. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team has arrived and is collecting physical evidence, including samples from the damaged vehicles. Officers wearing protective gloves and carrying specialized tools were seen documenting the scene and gathering possible traces linked to the explosion. Authorities have recorded statements of security personnel and eyewitnesses who were present during the incident. Officials maintain that further details will only be shared once the investigation reaches a conclusive stage.
