BJP Leader Sanjay Mayukh Slams Congress Over Bihar Remarks, Calls Rahul Gandhi’s Statement “Insulting”
Senior BJP leader and Bihar MLC Sanjay Mayukh has strongly criticized Congress and its allies after a controversial tweet by Kerala Congress compared Bihar with “beedi,” and Rahul Gandhi earlier spoke of “hydrogen bombs” during his visit to the state. Speaking exclusively, Mayukh said such remarks show the opposition’s disdain for Bihar and its people.“Rahul Gandhi talks about hydrogen bombs, and now his allies compare Bihar with beedi. This is not acceptable. In peaceful Bihar, the language of bombs and gunpowder will not work. The people of Bihar will give a befitting reply to this insult,” Mayukh said.He accused opposition leaders—including Rahul Gandhi, Stalin, and Revanth Reddy—of repeatedly using abusive or derogatory language, even targeting the Prime Minister’s family. Mayukh described this as evidence of Congress’s “frustration” after its campaigns, like the Nyay Yatra, failed to gain traction in Bihar.Referring to RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s recent comments comparing Bihar with Gujarat, Mayukh alleged that opposition parties have abandoned real issues concerning the state. He reiterated that under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar, the NDA will form the next government in Bihar, as the people trust BJP’s vision for development.
