BJP has come a long way in West Bengal, says Sambit Patra
The 2021 assembly election has been a major test for the ruling Trinamool Congress as the saffron brigade had put in all its might to make its footmark for the first time in West Bengal. But if early trends are taken as an indication, then Mamata Banerjee seems to have an edge over her rival.
Respond to this trend, BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra said that BJP has come a long way in West Bengal.
The 4th Round of counting is ongoing in Bengal and Mamata Banerjee seems to reduce the gap of trailing votes in Nandigram. Suvendu Adhikari now leads by 4000 votes in the Nandigram constituency which was earlier 7000 votes. TMC has maintained the lead in the latest trends and is ahead in 194 seats. BJP is ahead in 94 seats.
