Bihar Elections: Amit Shah Begins 10-Day Bihar Tour, NDA Seat-Sharing Talks Underway

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has commenced a 10-day tour of Bihar, accompanied by BJP core group members, ahead of the state assembly elections. During the visit, Shah may meet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to discuss election strategies and campaign planning. The campaigning will kick off in Samastipur and Bhanga, where CM Nitish Kumar is expected to address public gatherings, aiming to mobilize large numbers of NDA workers and supporters. Meanwhile, the Mahagathbandhan has yet to finalize seat-sharing arrangements, with sources indicating that an official announcement could be made today. Congress leader Akhilesh Prasad Singh expressed concerns that delays in seat allocation are unfair to Congress. Mukesh Sehani is reportedly aligned with the alliance, while RLM chief Upendra Kushwaha stated there are no issues regarding seat-sharing. Amit Shah also met with BJP national president JP Nadda to finalize campaign strategies. BJP state leader Dileep Jayswal emphasized that the NDA will contest the elections as a united front. The tour and meetings underline the BJP’s focused effort to strengthen its campaign machinery and ensure full coordination among alliance partners for the Bihar elections.
