Big Update: PM Modi Assures Students, Rahul Gandhi Launches Counterattack

The NEET paper leak controversy continues to trigger political confrontation across the country, with protests on the streets and disruptions in Parliament. Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued an assurance to students, stating that youth welfare and their future remain the government’s top priority. He announced that fast-track courts would be set up to ensure speedy trials in paper leak cases and promised strict punishment for those responsible. The statement came amid growing demands from students and opposition parties for accountability. Rahul Gandhi responded through a social media post, accusing the government of protecting those responsible for damaging the education system. He reiterated his demands for Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, an apology to students, and action against those accused of violence during protests. Meanwhile, NDA MPs are set to hold a protest at Makar Dwar against Rahul Gandhi’s demonstration near the Prime Minister’s residence. Tensions also remain high after clashes at Jantar Mantar left police personnel injured, while restrictions continue at 16 Delhi Metro stations due to security concerns.
