Bhagwant Mann Oath Ceremony: 'AAP does it differently' | Ground Report from Khatkar Kalan

On Wednesday, March 16, in Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of freedom warrior Bhagat Singh, Bhagwant Mann, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was sworn in as the 17th Chief Minister of Punjab. He is the state's first non-Akali and non-Congress chief executive. Governor Banwarilal Purohit administered Mann's oath of office and secrecy in front of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other prominent AAP officials on the occasion. With an estimated 3 lakh persons in attendance, the enormous swearing-in ceremony drew audiences from around the state.
