Air India Plane Crash: Miracle Survivor, Only One Man Walks Out Alive From Ahmedabad-London Flight Crash
A miraculous survival story has emerged from the tragic crash of Air India Flight 171, which was en route from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick with 242 people onboard, including 230 passengers and 12 crew members. The aircraft crashed within five minutes of takeoff, bursting into flames and breaking into multiple pieces. Amid the devastation, only one passenger survived — Vishwas Kumar Ramesh, a British citizen of Indian origin. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen interacting with Vishwas at the hospital, trying to understand firsthand what unfolded in the final moments of the doomed flight. Vishwas was reportedly seated in 11A, near the emergency exit. He managed to open the emergency window and escape just moments before the explosion intensified. Tragically, Vishwas's brother, who was also on the flight, did not survive. Currently under treatment and in deep shock, Vishwas was able to share only fragments of his experience. He remembered a loud noise and then waking up surrounded by debris and chaos. This sole survival is being seen as nothing short of a divine miracle. The crash investigation continues, with the voice recorder recovered and search still ongoing for the flight data recorder to determine the exact cause of the accident.
