PM Modi On ABP: PM Modi Shares A 'Name-And-Shame' Method To Stop Ticketless Train Travel

Ahead of the last phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave an exclusive interview to ABP News during which he spoke on a long range of issues concerning him, his party, and the country. PM Modi spoke about reservation, and criticised Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her stance on OBC quota and her comments about the judiciary. Suggesting that it was influenced by the BJP,  Banerjee had rejected the Calcutta High Court's last week ruling that that struck down the OBC status of several classes granted since 2010, calling them illegal.
Modi told ABP: "Mamata’s opposition to the court's decision is an insult to the judiciary. Granting reservations based on religion is a violation of the Constitution."
He also said he believes it was time the money of the poor looted by the corrupt was returned to them. Speaking about eliminating corruption from day-to-day life, he suggested a name-and-shame method to stop people from undertaking ticketless travel in trains.
