According to initial leads in the ongoing vote counting for the 2024 general elections, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is in the lead in both the Lok Sabha constituencies of Wayanad in Kerala and Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh. In Wayanad, where he is the incumbent MP, Gandhi is leading by 103 votes. Similarly, in Raebareli, a traditional stronghold of the Congress party, he is ahead of his BJP opponent Dinesh Pratap Singh in the counting of postal ballots.
