Delhi Poll 2025: BJP's Virendra Sachdeva Challenges AAP to Prove Bribery Claims, Threatens Legal Action

BJP has strongly responded to Arvind Kejriwal's allegations of attempting to buy AAP leaders. Delhi BJP President, Virendra Sachdeva, expressed his frustration, stating that if the AAP does not provide concrete evidence, legal action will be taken. He challenged Kejriwal to present proof or face consequences. Sachdeva directly questioned the authenticity of the claims and warned that spreading false information would not be tolerated. He also referred to previous instances where Kejriwal had apologized to BJP leaders, asserting that this time the same would happen with AAP leaders like Sanjay Singh. On the other hand, AAP claims that several of its candidates, including ministers like Mukesh Alawat and legislators like Vinay Mishra, received offers from BJP, allegedly promising money and positions in exchange for switching sides. While AAP has shown videos of the alleged calls and claimed these leaders were offered up to 15 crores, they have not yet provided definitive evidence. BJP, however, dismissed these allegations, with BJP MP Dinesh Sharma stating that Kejriwal’s accusations were born out of desperation, as the AAP knew they were losing the election.
