Delhi Election 2025 Results: Arvind Kejriwal Leads by 254 Votes in New Delhi Seat Amid Counting

As vote counting continues for the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and incumbent Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has taken a lead of 254 votes from the prestigious New Delhi seat. The elections, held in a single phase on February 5, saw 699 candidates contesting across 70 constituencies, with early trends emerging since counting began at 8:00 AM today (February 8).BJP, which has not been in power in Delhi for 26 years, is making a strong push for victory, while AAP is aiming to retain its hold. Exit polls had predicted a possible BJP resurgence, projecting a majority with over 36 seats, while AAP was estimated to secure 25-35 seats. Congress, on the other hand, was expected to remain marginal. As counting progresses, the battle for Delhi intensifies, with Kejriwal’s early lead indicating a tough fight ahead.
