Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has questioned the slow updates on the Election Commission website during the counting of votes for Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. "Like the Lok Sabha elections, in Haryana, we are again witnessing slowing down of uploading up-to- date trends on the ECI website. Is the BJP trying to build pressure on administration by sharing outdated and misleading trends @ECISVEEP?" He said in a post on X. This election is a pivotal moment as Congress seeks a comeback, and BJP aims for its third consecutive win in the state.The counting process has begun, starting with postal ballots for key groups such as people with disabilities, security personnel, and essential government staff. According to the Republic-Matrize poll, Congress could win as many as 55-62 seats, with the BJP securing 18-24. CVoter also predicted a favorable result for Congress, estimating 50-58 seats compared to BJP's 20-28.
