Understand what is Ambulance scam of Bihar and why is Nitish govt under scanner?

As the country is battling the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, an ambulance scam surfaced in Siwan district, Bihar involving two politicians MLC Tunna Pandey and former MLA Ramesh Singh Kushwaha. Although, Pandey in his statement said, 'We don't know at what price the ambulances were brought. The District Magistrate has constituted a committee for an investigation into the matter'. For the unversed, it was alleged that an ambulance worth Rs 7 lakh was purchased for a whopping price of around Rs 22 lakh. To know more about the story, watch video.
