GST revenue augmentation: Letters seeking suggestions sent to states
Centre has sent letters to states seeking suggestions to augment revenue collected from GST. Centre is expecting replies till December 6. This is the first time that centre has expressed concerns regarding collection of taxes and cess. In November, the collection was worth Rs 1 lakh crore. In October, GST collection was Rs 95,380 crore.
