Smriti Irani backed the decision of increasing the tax being given by the rich. She added that Budget 2019 was a balanced one

Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2019-20 in the Lok Sabha on Friday. She said the objective of her government is a strong nation and strong citizen. "Our objective was and continues to be 'Mazboot Desh Ke Liye Mazboot Nagrik'. With determined human efforts the task will surely be completed," she said in the Parliament.
