Goyal’s car collection has caught public attention in the past, with media reports indicating that his garage houses other high-end models, such as a Porsche 911 Turbo and a Ferrari Roma.

A recent video showcasing a fleet of luxury cars parked at the headquarters of Zomato and Blinkit in Gurugram has gone viral, generating a lot of buzz on social media. Among the cars spotted was an Aston Martin DB12 belonging to Zomato’s CEO, Deepinder Goyal, valued at an impressive Rs 4.59 crore.

The video starts with a shot of the entrance, highlighting the large Zomato and Blinkit boards, then transitions to the parking lot, revealing an array of high-end cars. In addition to Goyal’s Aston Martin, several other luxury vehicles were visible, including a Porsche and a Lamborghini.

Goyal’s car collection has caught public attention in the past, with media reports indicating that his garage houses other high-end models, such as a Porsche 911 Turbo worth Rs 3.35 crore, a Lamborghini Urus priced at Rs 4.18 crore, and a Ferrari Roma valued at Rs 4.76 crore.

But Goyal isn’t the only one with an eye for luxury automobiles. Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa’s collection was also on display, featuring a sleek BMW Z4 M40i. Other luxury models spotted in the video included an Audi and a Mercedes, adding to the spectacle of wealth on display at the company’s premises.

How Did Netizens React?

Social media reactions quickly poured in. The Instagram post’s comment section was flooded with mixed opinions, ranging from humour to critique. One user cheekily remarked, “All on EMI,” while another questioned the priorities of such companies, asking, “When you have this much money, give health insurance to the delivery person too? Or give them PF?”

Others expressed frustration over high platform fees, with one user commenting, “He can buy it. Charging platform fee from customers and deducting gig cancellation fee and no show fee from delivery partners. He makes much money from looting.”

This video has reignited discussions about wealth distribution and corporate practices in India, especially when it comes to the gig economy.

Is Zomato CEO The Richest Person In Gurugram?

Meanwhile, despite Goyal’s considerable wealth, amounting to Rs 9,300 crore, he is not the wealthiest individual in Gurugram. That title belongs to Nirmal Kumar Minda, Chairman and Managing Director of UNO Minda, whose net worth of Rs 30,800 crore places him well above Goyal, according to the Hurun India Rich List 2024. Minda is ranked 91st on the list of India’s wealthiest individuals.
